Workers’ compensation care

Insurance & Claims Coordination

Workers’ compensation claims are billed differently than standard health insurance.

When your claim is accepted, treatment for your work-related injury is typically covered through your employer’s workers’ compensation insurance rather than your personal health plan, generally with little to no out-of-pocket cost to you for treatment related to the accepted injury.

Making the Paperwork Side of Your Injury as Simple as It Can Be.

What We Handle on Your Behalf

  • Verifying your claim information and coordinating billing directly with the workers’ compensation carrier
  • Submitting documentation required to support ongoing treatment authorization
  • Communicating with your claims adjuster or case manager as needed throughout your care
  • Providing the records and work status updates your claim requires at each stage

What We Need From You

  • Your claim number, once one has been assigned
  • Your claims adjuster’s contact information, if available
  • Your employer’s workers’ compensation insurance information
  • Prompt communication if any of this information changes during your care

When a Claim Is Delayed or Disputed

Sometimes treatment needs to begin before a claim is fully accepted, or a claim is contested by the insurance carrier. We’ll talk you through your options in that situation, and our documentation is built to support your case regardless of where it stands in the claims process.

Coordinating With Other Providers

If your case involves other providers — an occupational physician, a specialist, imaging centers — we coordinate records and treatment updates with them directly, so your care stays consistent and your claims file stays complete.

Handling the claims side of your injury correctly protects your recovery from becoming a financial headache on top of a physical one — that’s exactly what this part of our process is built to prevent.

Get First Aid or Emergency Care First

For a serious workplace injury, get first aid or emergency care right away and call 911 when needed. Report the injury to your employer as soon as you can. Once you’re safe, we can evaluate the injury and document it for your claim.
